A Loan and His Personalities

Illustrated by: Javier Inga Martinez - PÍO
In some countries and for their citizens a loan is the meaning of security, a status symbol of trust, an achievement of hard work building a credibility, so when they can’t pay anymore a rate or more rates of it, they feel that their life is going trough a dark tunnel, without knowing how long will take to see the light again, of course with a degradation on their credit score. In more traditional places, a credit is a bad necessary thing, that first you paid, better you will be. For more traditional wealthy persons, the day you need a credit for your business, after you invested your own money on it, is the day to close, and better in the near future stay calm and wait for better times. A credit is also a Superhero for poor people or people with essential needs, that use it to buy food, since they don’t have current money for it. In any case a Loan, a credit, to borrow money from financial institutions is part of the normality for the human modern life, what is not normal is to pay 1000% on interest at year for it, like is happening in Argentina, where people borrow money frim MercadoLibre, an online to buy and sell platform that saw in the urgent need for cash of their clients, the opportunity to earn as they never did before, including a tax exemption they got from the government of the Lion Milei, the man who promised success with or without money, and where his Financial Minister is preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner to the FMI director with the hope of more credit from this institution, to confuse the public opinion about the sources of their national reserves, showing anyway positive income. As said the Wolf of WallStreet: Important is that money just circulates and don’t allow that is in need to show up, because then and just then we are over!
