Brazil doesn’t need Politicians

After the results on the first round in the 2026 Presidential Elections in Brazil, it’s clear that 20% of the eligible voters don’t care about politics in Brazil. Since 2014 the same proportion denies to give an electoral preference. We are talking of more than 30 million persons, more than the 20 million of habitants from Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro together. This in my opinion is a diagnosis that politicians are not well seen in Brazil.
The former president Jair Bolsonaro, convicted to 27 years of jail, now has his wife and Carlos his son as Senators, and for the Congress his brother Renato and Jair Jr. They for sure went to vote and believe that politics is the only way to be rich and famous.
About Lula da Silva, he went to jail for more than 1 year for corruption which was absolved by the Supreme Court and was elected president for the third time in 2022. In my opinion, he has a strong conviction and belief that just he understands how to administrate power and he is becoming during all these years like a national Chaman out of the Amazonia, having many dogmatic automatisms of how to govern the country, especially about economics and diplomacy.
So in this final election between Flavio Bolsonaro, the son of Jair, who only has the experience of being a deputy for more than 20 years, and with the highlight of being investigated for money laundering and criminal organisation in the infamous case called: Rachadinhas; what that means is that they believe that Flavio, requested a part of their public income to his own coworkers and Lula da Silva, I believe that I will agree with these 30 million Brazilians who don’t vote and think that the best way to direct this country that has infinite natural resources, including being the most diverse natural reserve of the planet, has industry, high standards of scientific and technological developments, that is a world power in sports, and has a population of 35 million between the ages of 15 and 24 years old, is to let the people who work, study, and dream to have the freedom to continue this journey without the Bolsonaro who talks about freedom and free market, but have in the state their lifelong reserve of money, and without Lula da Silva that in his epic fight for rights and efforts to taking millions of people from poverty, lost the sense of time and space. Brazil clearly shows that politicians are the major menace for its present and future.
