Family, Individualism and Success!

In the old Greece, we created a strong feeling and value for personal individualism. If you were a talented student of arts, science, humanities or sports, you will have a comfortable and wealthy life in the future. This was a guarantee; recommendations, favors or corruption was impossible at my time. But looking at how the modern society developed I see that without any doubt we created an egoistic kind of human. Now if a young man has talent, in most of the cases it will be ignored by his own family and this young man will be sure that the family he will create is his only and true family. There doesn’t exist a social understanding or a state of happiness for the “normal” people when confronting their talented brothers, sisters, cousins, etc. Just envy!
Now a days it looks like it’s a contemporary mood.
Worse is the addition of corrupt ways to make wealthy and important who doesn’t deserve it based on their merits and capacities, it’s putting in complete jeopardy the continuation of progressive development for the human race. You modern people are forcing the logic, destroying the meritocracy and making monuments to the manifestations of anger and envy.
