The USA 250th Anniversary at Mount Rushmore

Illustrated by: Javier Inga Martinez - PÍO
At Mount Rushmore, the emblematic sculpture of George Washington, the patriarch of the American Revolution, a representative of the deep rich South, that was conquered and changed forever after the American Civil War. Thomas Jefferson, one of the most important thinkers of his time who’s knowledge and intellect was admired worldwide, also showed that the racism since the beginning of American history was just in use by ignorants and short thinkers since he had 6 children with his wife, who was black.
Abraham Lincoln, the man that become a lawyer studying by his own, what we will call an autodidact in our times, driver of caravans through the Mideast, and the President that saw his country divided, but never wasted efforts and determination for the Reunification of the USA. After Lincoln was murdered monuments were built in every station where the funeral convoys stopped to let the people give honours to a man that was more a Saint for the common citizens.
Theodore Roosevelt and his Rough Riders, the 1st United States Volunteer Cavalry, ended with the Spanish empire territories in America. He was born rich and sick in New York, and he found in the vast and great American nature the True spirit of the USA. His model for business, industries and corporation working in the USA, where the countries authorities decided the needed activities to produce wealth for America and the American people; this was repeated by his personal and intellectual admirer Xi Jinping in China.
Unfortunately, for the Emperor Donald the Trump of Arepa there’s no space on the sacred rocks of Mount Rushmore for his empty smile, maybe on top of Alcatraz or in front of the gate of San Quentin he can order to build the Arc of Triumph with the plastic hawks he likes painted with golden colors.
