For the Intellectual Greeks Democracy was the main or most powerful expression that a country is civilised.
For Winston Churchill: Democracy was a very bad and dangerous political system, but was the best one that existed in his time.
In Spain, there is a city where most of the voters for the new mayor are Spanish Gypsies. Using their democratic power they elect and decided who will be in charge for the next 4 years. The new mayor offers what is important for this majority. They don’t ask for reparation of streets, schools, gyms, etc. They want help to pay their light, free legal assistance for their fellows in jail, a free food bank, and if possible a new TV with free Netflix etc. Those who are not Gypsy and have more important needs since they work, try to be active and complain about how dirty the streets are and full of holes, in some cases no black waters connections, limited schools, no sport centres, etc, but they will never be listened to or happy with any new major, because they focus in the number of votes.
What to do?
Change city where live people with common progress ideas.
This is the actual problem within the Democracy, who commands are the majority of voters. It’s no wonder under this system why we are risking the end of our civilisation.
The Intellectual persons and hard working people don’t easily create children; irresponsible persons without any clear future, poor and in most of cases with not even basic education make all the kids that will be the future majority of voters and who in their irresponsible ways will decide for our future.
What to do?
Going back to Ancient Greece, and to the original meaning of the word Democracy we find a solution: Democracy or Power of the people. For the Greek sages, a person is a person, or people, when they have an instruction and is morally trusted. These were the only people who could vote. Pythagoras with his Esoteric School teaches us, that the future “people” need to be selected, chosen when they are kids, taken to a place to live together to be free of bad influences; it didn’t matter their origin being poor or rich, and after being part of the school, and after being closely supervised and instructed in science and Human moral learnings they were tested. If they passed the exams, they became people and were able to vote.
You need to ask what happened? The corrupt and bad politicians decided to order the immediate death of the Greek professors otherwise they would never be elected.
