Masochism

Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, if he would be in the presence of the war for the “Freedom of Iran”, he will for sure be able to understand why his name and the derivation of his name: Masochist, is a permanent status of contemplation and forced joy of citizens and voters of our time.

Americans believe in the words and permanent contradictions of President Trump, who “successfully” took to bankruptcy 3 Casinos, and is going onto the fourth. But in this case, he’s gambling without a Trump card the present life of more than 340 million US citizens and non-citizens living under his compulsive, irrational and suicidal behavior (that only effects others, not him or his family). It doesn’t matter how bad the economy goes, security, education and most of the services in the country, the supporters of MAGA answer in choir: It’s great! Trump is our salvation. 

I call this a contemporary expression of Masochism. 

For Israeli’s who are getting bombed, the important and vital infrastructures destroyed, and the daily life that needs to be related for how far you go, needing to run at anytime to a shelter means this can’t be good. Supporters of this madness of Benjamin Netanyahu, the old great server of Israel, who is now running for his own, hopefully not for his own benefits but with a parallel, short, and narrow view of the enemy.

If Israelis think that to live in these conditions and to renounce to 80 years of permanent growing and development is worth seeing the enemy murdered at any cost, they are suffering a type of intense masochist syndrome.

And for the Iranians who live in Iran that wanted to change the government system and run for freedom, so the destruction of their country and killing of their citizens has a purpose? They must receive with joy the bombs and scream of happiness hearing the explosions; they are Masochist too, but in the most perverse and radical meaning of the word.
