A Law against extortion in Peru

Luis Cordero Jon Tay: Lawmaker in the Congress of Peru, had the “magnificent idea”, as thousands of citizens are victims of extortion and murdered every day in Lima and other Peruvian cities, needing to pay the majority of their earnings daily to not be attacked, to not have their home bombed, or sometimes just for the right to be able or to be allowed to open their door; Luis Cordero Jon Tay proposal allows every person that pays to the criminality to quantify at the end of the year and be deducted as payment and not earnings, what will be reflected into paying less taxes.
Brilliant!
Luis Cordero Jon Tay was saved for one vote, to be suspended of the parliament for the heavy lawsuit against him presented by his partner for multiple abuses.
It’s clear, that he is trying to legalise the extortion as economic activity and normalising the crime.
Unfortunately, Luis Cordero Jon Tay is not the only contradiction and poor behaviour, as politicians and public workers who are supposed to enforce the legality and the law in the Republic of Peru.
