Education and Personal Failure

22 de septiembre de 2025

I’m very concerned about the depressing prospective of graduated kids, many from very renowned universities, that when they step into the reality of the work market, they feel that what they were told, taught and experienced in  the university is far away of the dramatic, and in many cases, wild competition to not just get a job, but to be able to be financially independent and to build their own life. Globalisation and technology has made that you can contract, without any legal attachment, a professional from the other side of the world and to pay a fraction of what it would cost in the Occidental world. For years in Europe and in the USA, they made believe the people that doing just the necessary for somebody else, called a company or a transnational group, will give you enough to live well, to have a pension and a lot of free time and holidays. This is already almost impossible, but the worse, is that this systematic mentality cut the wings of imagination, inspiration, self confidence and love for our passions, we became comfortable retired before even starting. The key is to be good in something, to practice and develop every day our art or profession, and to go and sell what we do. If we get a few dollars at any time, means that we will need thousands of clients, hundreds of thousands of them.

These are my thoughts at the end of this 5785 Jewish year, I dedicated this article to all the young professionals, and I tell them, that it is not just to don’t give up, but be professionals from the A to Z and never stop creating and developing, even when we sleep, that our dreams inspire our awakening time.

Shana Tova! And Welcome to the year 5786!
