Greenland or a Social Club

7 de enero de 2026

Oscar Bellina Lishner

Imagine that one of the most exclusive Social Clubs is taken illegally by and for one of their members…Why? Because he wants to have everything for himself.

Time passes and the usurper goes to his newly acquired club and there is not a kitchen open, nobody in the bar, the inner pool is dirty, and there is no electricity or water. Then he starts to contact all the service companies that went away of the Club after his illegal acts and nobody wants to work for him. Electricity and water expenses are dramatically high for a solo owner, so the club will finish and die after some months of inactivity. The usurper will try to search for new members to help him run the club, but nobody will trust in him since at any moment he can change ideas and again keep everything for his own after it is properly functioning again.

This is the case of Greenland, a cold and frozen northern place that Denmark keeps alive with a huge sacrifice of their tax payers and a history of public efforts of more than 1,000 years. They convinced the 50k people to stay there by offering them large sums of money, and as Denmark is part of NATO, they offer military bases and facilities to their allies. As is the case of the USA.

So, Mr. President of the USA, what is the problem? Someone makes all the work for you; you already have your troops there with services that allow them to live thanks to the local population and that is paid for by somebody else.

Sometimes your advisers need to say the truth and not just answer before you ask them: Yes.
