Hanukkah: Light to Defeat Darkness
14 de diciembre de 2025

Today, criminals murdered 12 people because they were jews and celebrating Hanukkah on the beach in Australia, showing their Jewish pride and inviting non jews to join them and celebrate the light that cancels darkness. But shadows attacking with irrational violence tried to cancel something that was created specifically to defeat this behavior.
This horrendous tragedy is a proof that our culture, and especially our Jewish holidays, are actively important for this modern but violent world. Rabbi Eli Schlanger, one of today’s victims, said days before “that when your facing darkness, we need to be more Jewish, act more Jewish and appear more Jewish!” Amen.
