Saint Francis of Assisi: The Healer of the Soul

It’s maybe impossible for a person from any other culture to not know about Saint Francis: San Francesco!

A polite and ecumenical figure who changed the life, not just for catholics, but for people of many countries and cultures. More than 800 years ago, where there was a war, or a minority in sufferance he went, the little gigantic figure from Assisi and national Saint of Italy.

From next year, the 4 of October 2026, the day that commemorates 800 years of his death, will be a country festivity. In my opinion, figures like Saint Francis, are a big inspiration for the people in this conflictive world. A diplomat that used his personal faith to illustrate and illuminate the street of dialogue and harmony with the nature, based in daily hard work, but always with an eye for who didn’t have and for who was in need, especially to heal their soul.
