Yesterday, Refugees... Today, Democratic Majority

Developed societies and countries citizens found a sensible, compassionate and altruistic way to celebrate thanksgiving of their prosperity, and decided to create associations to welcome refugees; a refugee is a person who leaves his country because he fears for his personal integrity, cause of war, violence, or persecution, for their ideas, colour, ethnicity, religion, etc. It’s clear that our planet, where there are active wars, where the crime rates are high, where there are countries directed by terrorists, it is difficult, including in the Civilised ones, to have a complete and perfect control status of wealth and security. For example: Italy, where from Rome to the North of the country is the Italian law and government who controls and regulates the life of their citizens and can be considered an area where most of the people live with a good standard of security and economic welfare. But if we look at the Southern Regions, there are private organisations who regulate and judge what is correct to do, giving no chance to other people who don’t want to be submissive and his only possibility is to go away from their homeland. In this scenario, we will call refugees the southern Italians who search for a better living away from this problem and dangerous situation. But Italy is far away to be able to resolve its domestic problems, but at the same time Italy is one of the largest recipients of Refugees from Africa, the Middle East and other areas of Asia.

It’s true that there is a Convention of Geneva from 1951 to honor, but if we reflect about the reality of the countries in the let’s say “civilized world”, we are far to not have citizens that can be considered in quality of refugees in our domestic realities. But helping these foreign refugees, coming from very underdeveloped cultures that make them refuse, in majority, to learn the local traditions and new cultural input. It’s for this reason that we  have our Democracy and Democratic rules, being used to erase our culture and just make bigger the culture and population of our foreign refugees, since in some areas they are now the majority of the voters.
